Set up your RevPopp.
Your RevPopp needs your Google review link on it before it works. Most people set it up themselves in about 5 minutes. Ordering 10 or more? We can set them up for you.
Set it up yourself.
Follow the steps below. They are written one tap at a time, and you only need your phone.

- Your RevPopp
- Your phone (an iPhone or Android phone with NFC)
- About 5 minutes
1Get your review link
- Tap the button below. It opens Google's Place ID Finder.
- Type your business name in the box on the map, then tap your business.
- Copy the Place ID. It is a long mix of letters and numbers and usually starts with ChIJ.
- Paste it in the box below.
Important: use this one in step 5. It does not start with https:// because the app adds that for you. Do not paste only the Place ID. That will not work.
Tap Test our link. It should open your business's review page. Google may ask you to sign in first. That's normal.
2Get the free app
On your phone, get the free app called NFC Tools.
- iPhone: open the App Store and search NFC Tools
- Android: get it on Google Play
3Open it and tap Write
Open NFC Tools. You will see four buttons. Tap Write.
4Add your link
- Tap Add a record.
- Tap URL / URI.
5Paste your link
- You will see https:// already there. Leave it alone.
- Tap the empty box under it and paste the link you copied in step 1 (the one for the app).
- Tap the check mark at the top right.
6Write it to your RevPopp
- Tap the Write button near the top. It may say how many bytes it is. That is fine.
- A box says Ready to Scan.
- Hold the top of your phone against your RevPopp (on Android, the back of the phone) and keep it still.
- Wait for the check mark. That means it worked.
7Test it
- Close the app.
- Tap your phone on the RevPopp.
- Your Google review page should open.
If it opens the wrong page or shows an error, go back to step 3 and write it again. Do not lock it yet.
8Lock it. Do this last.
Why: if you leave it unlocked, anyone with a phone could rewrite your RevPopp and send your customers somewhere else. Locking stops that. A locked RevPopp still works when people tap it.
- Open NFC Tools again.
- Tap Other, then look for Lock tag.
- Follow the screen, then hold your phone against your RevPopp until it says it worked.
All done? Your RevPopp is ready to put at the counter.
